Hey, marketers!

I know you're passionate about your day-to-day. Whether it's your own business, your full-time gig, or maybe even your side hustle, I know what it's like to grind e-V-e-r-y d-A-y.

But while you're busy promoting your business, don't forget to promote yourself.

Wait, what??

That's right, don't forget to give yourself a boost with your own personal brand.

How do you get started? Well, what are you most passionate about? What unique experiences can you share with those in your network?

Feel a little shy? While it might seem self-serving, I promise—you will not only promote yourself, you'll elevate your business profile as well, bringing new traffic and, in time, more customers.

Ready, set, PERSONAL BRAND! Start here:
  • Pick your favorite social media platform (think LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, you name it)
  • Start small with one post a week, then gradually increase up to five per week; the key is consistency. Keep it going!
  • Use Semrush's social media tracker to see how your organic and paid content is working, especially compared to your competitors' content
  • What original thoughts can you contribute to gain credibility from future audiences?

Track your analytics to measure your progress in building your brand. Be patient, as you likely won't gain thousands of followers overnight—but in due time, you will see growth when you prioritize building your brand.

So get yourself out there. There's an audience and a place for your knowledge, experience, and expertise.

Happy branding!
